Did you ever heard about someone who created the cure is
the one who created the virus. I don’t know whether the statement is true or
wrong. Based on the movie, Cicakman directed by Yusri KRU, the professor,
who was Professor Klon played by Aznil
Haji Nawawi, had created the healer to
save the people in Metrofulus. But the truth is, he was the cause of that
problem. He created the product that may cure the existing problem and sell it
with the high price.
Nowadays, most people are using the technology to facilitate
the works especially gen X and Y. However, as technology users, we are exposed
to the threat that might be disturbed our tasks and activities. A system’s vulnerability is the possibility that
the system will suffer harm by a threat. Just imagine the situation that we
have to submit the important report to the lecturer and we are almost done.
Unfortunately, by completing the last final part of report, our computer had
attacked by virus and all the data has been disappeared. Of course, our blood
temper may increase and it makes us stress!!.
Therefore, to prevent our computer from any malicious, firstly,
we have to ensure that our operating system (OS) is up to date. This is
essential if we are running a Microsoft Windows OS. Secondly, we need to have
anti-virus software installed on our system and ensure that we have downloaded
updates frequently to ensure our software has the latest fixes for new viruses,
worms, and Trojan horses. Additionally, we want to make sure our anti-virus
program has the capability to scan e-mail and files as they are downloaded from
the internet, and we also need to run full disk scans periodically. This will
help prevent malicious programs from even reaching our computer.
But…. The question is… do anti-virus companies create
computer viruses??
I have looking for the answer for that question and I receive
many feedback and comments. Some said that the antivirus companies are cause
the viruses problem, meanwhile, some argue and give the evidence that they are
not guilty. Here are the answer to prove that the anti-virus companies are not involve in
creating the viruses which I taken from the internet.
- Creating computer viruses is not that difficult for someone who's familiar with computers and programming. Creating viruses would not help in the detection or prevention of viruses.
- An antivirus company could't protect itself from the virus before it was released without raising suspicion. Therefore, it would infect its own product, causing customer dissatisfaction.
- There are plenty of other users who are not affiliated with antivirus companies who already do this.
- The code that makes up a virus is reviewed by dozens of security experts when a virus gets out in the wild. Analyzing that code could trace its origins back to the antivirus company.
- An antivirus company could be held liable for creating viruses, which would not only make the company look bad but could cause a lot of lawsuits.
There are many answers for this question and I just pick
up randomly. However, I don’t know how far the truth of that evidence and
argument. Therefore, I must to keep on searching the answer to satisfy myself.
